Car insurance,
answered plainly.
What is the difference between comprehensive and third party car insurance?
Comprehensive cover protects your own vehicle as well as damage you cause to other people's vehicles or property. Third Party Property Only covers damage to other people's property but not your own car. Third Party Property, Fire and Theft sits in between, adding limited cover for your own car if it is stolen or damaged by fire.
Is CTP insurance the same as car insurance?
No. Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance is mandatory for every registered vehicle in Australia and only covers injury or death to other people. It does not cover damage to vehicles or property, which is why most drivers add comprehensive or third party property cover.
Does car insurance include a hire car after an accident?
Many comprehensive policies include a hire car after a no-fault accident or theft, subject to policy conditions and limits. We confirm exactly what is included before you buy so there are no surprises at claim time.
Why use a broker for car insurance instead of buying online?
A broker compares policies from multiple insurers, explains the exclusions, and works for you rather than the insurer. If you need to claim, your broker helps manage the process from lodgement to settlement.
